Cora R. Diehl, 98, entered into God's eternal care Monday, May 11, 2015 at the Homewood at Plum Creek Nursing Center. Cora was born September 17, 1916 in Adams County, she was the daughter of the late Clarence W. and Lottie M. (Leese) Diehl. Cora was employed for 32 years at the Freeman Shoe Company until her retirement in 1981. Mrs. Diehl was a life member of Christ United Church of Christ, Littlestown. Cora is survived by many cousins. She was preceded in death by her sister, Isabel D. Diehl. A funeral service to celebrate and remember Cora's life will be held 11 a.m., Friday, May 15, 2015 at the Kenworthy Funeral Home, Inc., 269 Frederick St., Hanover, with her Pastor, the Rev. Craig Arentz, officiating. Burial will be in Christ United Church of Christ Cemetery, Littlestown.
