Wade V. Porter, 61, of Indianapolis, passed away March 28, 2015. He was a graduate of North Central High School and Eastern Illinois University. Wade served his country in the United States Air Force for over 20 years. He retired from the USAF as a SMSgt and then worked for Indiana Steel Fabricating. He was a member of the American Legion and VFW.

Wade is survived by his wife, Beth; children, Katie (husband Todd) Eaton and Matthew Porter; brothers, Stephen and David Porter; granddaughters, Shelby, Ellie, Abby and Audrey Eaton; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Errol and Patricia Porter and sister, Barbara Osborne.

A Celebration of his life with Military Honors will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday April 4, in Leppert Mortuary - Smith Carmel Chapel, where all are invited to gather with the family from 11 a.m. until the life celebration.

In lieu of flowers memorial gifts are suggested to the Indiana Veterans Home, Lafayette, IN. Thoughts may be shared with the Porter family by visiting: www.leppertmortuary.com.
