William W. Langham, of Freedom township, died at his home at Blue Knob, Tuesday afternoon, of a complication of disease. He had been an invalid for many years.
He was he son of Samuel Langham, deceased, and Mrs. Margaret Langham Eckard, and was born at Duncansville, Oct. 11, 1866. He was aged 49 year, 6 months, and 28 days.
His father died when he was a child. He was educated at McAllisterville Soldier's Orphans home. Many years ago his eyes failed and for some time he had been totally blind. He was expert at wood carving.
He is survived by his step-father, George W. Eckard, his mother, his wife, five children, and two brothers; Samuel of Williamsburg and Frank A. of near Leamersville. He was a member of the Church of the Brethren at Leamersville.
Funeral services were conducted at his home on Thursday afternoon. Interment in Carson Valley cemetery.
