Dana James Robinson, 50, also known as “Man” was born on March 11, 1964 to Daniel G. Robinson and Mary Ann Bellamy-Robinson. He was the youngest sibling to Daniel Jr., Diane, Betty and Minnie. He grew up in Clinton Township, Michigan and over the years encouraged many people throughout his life. Dana was a man with a big heart and loved to bring others joy. “No more sad days!” was his motto for living after accepting Jesus Christ as his personal savior.

Man had hard times growing up with the early loss of his mother at his age of thirteen. God is faithful, loving and endures forever. He brought Dana through the storms that our earthly lives can bring. Dana enjoyed participating in athletics from the start. He was on the wrestling team and played football in high school; being awarded many metals.

Dana has traveled to other states in his life and also worked while traveling. Man was a strong worker with good work ethics. After traveling for a few years, he returned back home to Michigan. God had other plans for his life. He blessed him with love in order to begin his new journey as a father. Dana J. Robinson and Anita L. Jones conceived their one and only baby girl, Angelica A. Jones-Robinson in 1988. This brought Dana happiness and appreciation that only a father can experience.

Man spent years cleaning up his act in order to transform into what God had in store for him. There were many goals that Dana achieved during his time on earth. He returned back to school at Macomb Community College, spent daily devoted time with God and his Word, attended sobriety meetings/classes, maintained nearly Five years of sobriety, developed positive attitudes, surrounded himself around positive loving people and his highlight was bringing smiles to children. He had a calling for donating toward charities for children, not only locally, but around the world.

Many of Man’s hobbies included swimming at the YMCA, fishing, outdoor activities, grilling, family/friends gatherings, playing spades and domino’s, music, attending bible studies and church services. But, above all, was giving his praise to God.

Dana had a passionately amplified personality that could light up any place/room. He made positive impacts in the lives of many people including his best friend Ricky, siblings, daughter, nieces, nephews, cousins and his brothers and sisters in Christ. “God made him (Christ) who had no sin for us, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God.” (2Cor.5:21)” Dana James Robinson will not be forgotten, his footprints will remain in the hearts of many friends and loved ones. “No More Sad Days!”
