Parents Alexander Lynch (1855 – 1930) & Ann "Annie" Woods (1866 – 1925)
At age 19 she was a dynamite worker in an explosives factory like her dad and oldest siblings.
Married in Stevenston, Ayrshire County, Scotland to Matthew Russell Scott Gourlay on 12 June 1914 at the Thistle & Rose Hotel after banns according to the Free Church of Scotland. Edward Gillsespie of the Free Church of Stevenston married them. Janet Lynch and Thomas H. Hamilton were witnesses.
Emigrated to Canada from Scotland in May 1821 on SS Pretorian with her sons, Alexander & John.
Matthew died in 1933, they were living at 76 Walnut Street, Hamilton, Ontario at the time.
In 1958 she lived at 106 East 11th St, Hamilton, Ontario with her son, Alexander
