BETTY JEAN GURTNER, 75, died Wednesday at Miller's Merry Manor West, Wabash.
Born in Wabash, she was a receptionist at U.S. Gypsum Co. in Wabash for 12 years before retiring in 1972. She also worked two years at Honeywell House in Wabash.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Norman H. Greiner, in 1972; and her second husband, James A. Gurtner, in 1995. Surviving are two sons, Ronald L. of Wabash, and Robert S. of Bluffton; a daughter, Christine K. Noonan of Wabash; and five grandchildren.
Services at 10 a.m. Monday at Grandstaff-Hentgen Manchester Avenue Chapel, Wabash. Calling from 2 to 6 p.m. today. Burial in Falls Cemetery, Wabash. Memorials to Wabash County Cancer Society.
