L. Shane Robins, 53, of Spokane, Washington, tragically passed away on Monday, February 16, 2015, in Maui, Hawaii, while on vacation.

Shane owned his own business, Shaners Pump Service for 23 year in Spokane, Washington. He was a member of the Countryside Seventh Day Adventist Church. He was also a board member for "Water for Life" and donated his time and skill installing pumps to provide the people of Guatemala with clean water. In 2013 he became a local volunteer fire fighter for District 10, to give back to his community.

Shane is survived by his loving parents, Glenda Nevels-Wilfong and L.J. Robins; his wife, Donna; dear children, Zachary and Jodi Robins and Alyssa and David Frost; sisters Tonja Robins, Lisa Shafer-Harmon, Erica Rigel-Joyce, and Beanca Rigel-Rider, proud grandfather to Preston and Zoey Robins and Taylin and Serenity Frost; and extended family and many friends.

Memorial donations may be given to the Robins Family.

Funeral: In celebration of his life, a memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Sunday, March 15, 2015 at the Granite City Elks Lodge, 4801 Maryville Road, Granite City, Illinois
