Age 87, formerly of Rockford, passed away May 9, 2015 at Maple Crest Care Centre. Born November 12, 1927 in Rock Island; he was the son Robert T. and Christina (Eversoll) Swift. A U.S. Navy Veteran, Paul served his country during WWII and the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the Rockford American Legion, Post 1207 and a Plank member of the U.S. Navy Memorial located in Washington D.C. He retired from Eclipse Inc. after 18 years of employment. He was the husband of Dona Cary Swift. He enjoyed traveling with his wife, gardening, jig-saw puzzles and his dog, Max.
He was predeceased by his parents; wife; 4 brothers and 3 sisters.
