Nelia Frederick, 94, of Gracemont, Oklahoma, was called home by the Lord on Monday, May 11, 2015 at the Binger Nursing Home in Binger, Oklahoma. Nelia was born August 2, 1920 in Vian, Oklahoma to William Loyd and Ollie (Timmer) Frederick. She was a homemaker and loved to cook, sew, reading and really enjoyed fishing in farm ponds for catfish and also at Lake Chickasha. She liked gardening and would sing many hymns while enjoying the outdoors. Nelia was a member of the Gracemont First Baptist Church and she cooked for many years at Falls Creek for their youth church group.
Left to cherish her memories are her daughter, Alberta Raynor of Gracemont; son, Coy "Robert" Frederick of Gracemont; 8 grandchildren; 3 step grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren; 1 brother, Floyd Vance and wife, Jackie of California; 1 sister: Opal Weaver of Anadarko, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Nelia is preceded in death by her parents; husband, William Frederick; 2 sons: William Carol Frederick and William Loyd Frederick; 2 sons-in-law: Doyle Daugherty and Phil Raynor; 2 grandson's, Stony Frederick and Loyd Earl Frederick; Brothers: Richard, Murray, Charlie, Barney, Bill, Sam, Rufus and 3 sister's: Flora Faye Brummell, Una Maldin and Lindy Ratliff.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, May 14, 2015 at the First Baptist Church in Gracemont. Burial will follow at the Springcreek Cemetery near Gracemont, Oklahoma. Services are under the direction of Smith Funeral Home, Anadarko, Oklahoma.
