Ronald Eugene Ervin Sr. 77, of Stateline, Indiana Passed away peacefully on Monday May 11, 2015 at Hoopeston Hospital, in Hoopeston.
Ronald was born the son of Frank and Eileene Ervin on March 22, 1938. On Sept. 15, 1962, Ronald married his sweetie, Ellen Myler, and the two enjoyed over 50 years of marriage and family life together.
Ronald is survived by his wife, Ellen Ervin; his children, Patti (Rick) Porter, Ron (Lisa) Ervin Jr. and Beth (Kevin) Barnes; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; his sister, Donna Allen and many loving extended family members.
Ronald is preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Donald Ervin.
Ronald graduated from John Greer High School in Hoopeston in 1956. A few years later, he enlisted in the U.S. Army from 1959 to 1962.
