Donald R. Burke, 84, passed away Sunday evening, May 10, 2015, at Pleasant Hill Village in Girard, Ill.
Donald was born Feb. 11, 1931, to Thomas and Mable (Cook) Burke in Girard, Ill.
Donald was career Navy, active duty from Feb. 14, 1948 - Feb. 22, 1967, serving as a parachute rigger. After retiring from the Navy, Donald worked and retired from Boeing Aircraft. He was a member of Girard First Baptist Church.
Donald is survived by a sister, Betty; four nieces:; three nephews: and a sister-in-law, Helen.
Donald was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Gene, Bill and Bob Burke.
Burial will follow at Camp Butler National Cemetery in Springfield, Ill.
