Born in Quincy, Mass., she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Clara Shea Delaney. She was active in the Warrington Athletic Association, Meals on Wheels, State Street Players, Bridge Club, The Neuman Center and was a Lay Minister at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Doylestown. She also was an active participant in many other charitable organizations. The saying, 'A life lived in the service of others is a life not lived in vain,' exemplified how she led her life.
Surviving are four daughters, Lynne Scott (John), Betsy Malatesta (Will), Paula Lewis (Jeff) and Carolyn Weeks (Shelley); a son, Daniel H. Weeks (Leslie); two sisters, Helen Delaney and Paula Healy; a brother, Jerry Delaney; and 12 grandchildren, Courtney Webb, Jes Scott, Adam Scott, Emma Scott, Julia Weeks, Ava Weeks, Ben Malatesta, Ali Malatesta, Chadwick Lewis, Clayton Lewis, Shea Marie Lewis and Finn Mason Epstein-Weeks.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, May 13, at the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 235 E. State St., Doylestown, PA 18901. A luncheon will follow after the Mass.
