MISS FANNIE HORTON
Miss Fannie Horton died at four o'clock yesterday (Wednesday) afternoon at her home at 208 East avenue, Riverhead, at the age of 77 years. She had been in ill health for some time.

Miss Horton was a lifelong resident of Riverhead, where she was a devoted member of the First Methodist Church.

Funeral services will be held at 2pm Saturday afternoon at her late home, with the Rev James Lord, pastor of the Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will follow in Riverhead Cemetery.

No members of her immediate family survive her.

FANNIE HORTON WILL IS FILED
Fannie P Horton of Riverhead, who died March 27, left an estate valued at over $10,000 in personal and about $3,500 in real property, according to the petition filed with the will in Surrogate's Court, Riverhead, this week.

The will makes the following bequests: Elizabeth G DeFriest, niece, Bay Shore, all household furniture and goods, clothing and jewelry; Riverhead Cemetery Association, $200 in trust, income to be used for the upkeep of the testatrix's plot; David I DeFriest, grandnephew, Elmhurst, $1,000; Thelma DeFriest, grandniece, and Irad D DeFriest, grandnephew, both of Bay Shore, each $1,000; Alberta Taylor, Riverside, Riverhead, $500; Irad B DeFriest, Bay Shore, $3,000.

The will left $10,000 in trust to Elizabeth G DeFriest, who was instructed to pay the net income to Henry W Horton, brother, New York City. However, he predeceased the testatrix and a codicil revokes this provision of the will. The residuary estate is left to Elizabeth G DeFriest. who is named executrix.
