Passed peacefully away at St. Clares Mercy Hospital aged 87 years. (Well known Fisherman from the Battery) Leaving to mourn with fond memories his loving wife Stella; daughter Loretta Butler (Frank); two grandchildren: Frank and Leah Butler; brothers: Reginald (Ruby-deceased) and George (Jenny); sisters: Dorothy Cole (James), Phyllis Corrigan (Albert-deceased) and Helen Bugler (Clayton); also a number of nieces, nephews, a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Barretts Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue from 2-4pm and 7-9pm on Wednesday, and then from 10am-12noon on Thursday. Funeral service to be held from Barretts Chapel on Thursday, November 20, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
