Mrs. Loretta J. Reeves, 97, died at the Davis Manor Home in Alvordton early last Thursday morning. She had been a patient there for the past two weeks, and was a lifetime resident of Williams County, most of that time in Kunkle. She had lived with a daughter, Mrs. Ray Hitt, in Bryan, before going to Alvordton.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Berlean.
She is survived by 96 descendants, a son, Richard J. Reeves, Garrett, Ind.; daughters, Mrs. Ray (Neva) Hitt, Bryan, Mrs. Harvey (Goldie) Mercer, Pioneer, Mrs. Nelson (Carma) Douglass, Waldron, Mich., Mrs. Lowell (Thelma) Kollar, Fort Wayne; twenty grandchildren, 53 great-grandchildren and 18 great-great-grandchildren.
Services were held Saturday at the Thompson Funeral Home in Pioneer with burial at Floral Grove Cemetery.
