Anna "Ann" (nee Van Buskirk) Rhodes, 91, passed away on March 6, 2014. Beloved wife of the late Robert B. "Dusty" Rhodes; loving mother of Sharon Rice, Sheryl (Steve) Lowrey, Margaret "Maggie" (Ed) Voisey, and Mary Beth (SO Sheri Graham) Stevens; loving mother-in-law of Barb (Harrod) Rhodes; loving grandmother of Catherine (SO William Kelly) Rice, Heather Lierheimer, Jason (SO Jodi Groteboer) Rhodes, Joshua (Jessica) Rhodes, Jed Rhodes, Melissa Gens, Lauren Voisey, Morgan Voisey, Stuart (Dana) Stevens and Hannah (SO Collin Greene) Stevens; dear great-grandmother of Mocara Rice, Miranda Lierheimer, Rayna Rhodes, Summit Rhodes, Finley Rhodes and Potter Rhodes. Cherished sister-in-law, aunt, cousin, friend and second mom to Scott Stevens.

Ann is preceded in death by her sons, Robert G. "Dusty" Rhodes and Thomas H. Rhodes; her parents, Roxanna (Berry) and Harold Van Buskirk; her siblings Mary Francis Payne, Lois Payne, Dorothy Copeland, Louise Lively, Frank Van Buskirk, and William Van Buskirk; and one grandson, Thomas Henry Rice.

Ann lived a fun life that included traveling, the casino and volunteering, She enjoyed playing cards, board games and watching game shows.

In lieu of flowers, please pay it forward by doing a random act of kindness or make a contribution to your charity/organization of choice.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 15 at Alexander-White-Mullen East Chapel, St. Ann. A private burial of cremated remains will occur at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
