FORMER RESIDENT DIES IN CALIFORNIA - Thomas Bodell, a former resident of Monroe, died Friday, October 30, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. H. P. Newhouse at Los Angeles, California. Mr. Bodell had lived in Monroe for many years and was prominent in Masonic circles. He was the father of Barton Bodell of Battle Creek, who was former city engineer here. The Rev. Charles O'Meara, rector emeritus of Trinity Episcopal Church, conducted the services at 2 p.m. Thursday afternoon, November 6, at the Rupp funeral Home. Monroe Lodge of Masons had charge of the services at the grave in Woodland Cemetery. (MEN - November 6 1931)/js
