"SALISBURY, June 1 -- Mrs. Martha White, widow of the late Henry White, died at her home in Salisbury Sunday morning. Mrs. White was 70 years old. She had suffered a heart attack several weeks ago and had been bedfast since.
Mrs. White had lived in or near Salisbury for the past ten years, coming here from Illinois. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Mattie Miles, with whom she made her home, and Mrs. Jean Fisk of Wyoming, who had been here for the past week at her mother's bedside.
Funeral services were held at the Winkelmeyer Chapel at 10 o'clock this morning and burial was in the Keytesville cemetery." Moberly Monitor-Index (Moberly, Missouri), June 1, 1936
