He attended public high school in Richmond, and graduated proudly from El Cerrito High School in 1997. After graduation Eric attended Los Medanos Community College, following his beloved cousin DaJuan. Eric was employed with the US Postal Service as a mail handler where he had many friends. He recently made a verbal and written commitment to his Mother to return to college to obtain his degree.
An avid Green Bay Packers fan, he enjoyed watching sports, but found greater joy in participating. At a young age he played football for the Richmond Steelers Youth Football program, and later played at both El Cerrito High and Los Medanos College.
Eric was a warm, wonderful person with a beautiful smile and an easy laugh. The special relationship he had with his Mother let everyone know they were best friends.
