Georgia Caroline Swick, 97, former Town of Lake resident, died Tuesday, May 4 at NewCare Convalescent Center in Crivitz, WI. She was born to the late Charles Ray and Christina Eva (Bode) Dyer on Oct. 15, 1912 in Atlanta, IL.

She married James Swick on Oct. 16, 1930.

The couple farmed in the Town of Lake and she was also employed at the former Marinette General Hospital, then later for the Crivitz Ski Factory until retirement. She enjoyed music, gardening, flowers of all kinds and her family was her pride and joy.

Surviving are a son, Kenneth (Blanche) Swick of Crivitz;
eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren;
a brother, Paul (Lois) Dyer;
two sisters-in-law, Mary Ann Dyer and Evelyn Dyer and many nieces and nephews.

Preceeding her in death, along with her parents, were her husband, James; a daughter, Virginia Dunn; a son-in-law, Dave Dunn; two grandchildren; one great-grandchild; a sister and three brothers.

Friends may call at Faith Presbyterian Church in Crivitz at 11 a.m. Rev. Richard Marcy will officiate and burial will be in Forest Home Cemetery in Crivitz. Rhodes-Charapata Funeral Home of Crivitz is assisting the family.
