Rhoda was the daughter of Captain Abner Howell & Mary Gregg Howell, married Job Stout (Soldier of 1776). Rhoda and Job came to Franklin County circa 1812. She was the mother of 12 children. Rhoda received a pension for the service of Job Stout from New Jersey in the War of Independence.
