Kellie Lee Miller age 76 of Royalton, Kentucky passed away Sunday, August 20, 2017 at the Indiana University Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana. He was born June 12, 1941 in Magoffin County Kentucky, the son of the late Sam and Evalece Montgomery Miller and the late Bonnie Summa Miller. He is preceded in death by his wife, Connie Risner Miller.
Kellie Lee was elected as Magistrate of District 3 in Magoffin County, Kentucky for three terms. He also served three terms as a school board member for Magoffin County Schools, where he served as chairman for a time.
Survivors include two sons, Kellie Shane Miller of Royalton, Kentucky, and Michael John Miller of Elizabethtown, Kentucky, three daughters, Mary Lea Miller and Brenda (Bill) Schraeder both of Royalton, Kentucky, and Linda Miller of Elizabethtown, Kentucky, four brothers, Larry Arnold Miller of Detroit, Michigan, Ronnie Miller of Cement City, Michigan, Sam Miller, Jr., and Terry Miller both of Salyersville, Kentucky, and two sisters, Sandra Sue Salyer of Royalton, Kentucky, and Debbie Allen of Salyersville, Kentucky. Several grandchildren, including "Paw's Boy" and special fox hunting buddy, Layne Kellie Miller, several great grandchildren, and a very special great-great grandson, Hudson Luke Hansford, also survive.
Kellie Lee was a member of the New Life Worship Center in Salyersville, Kentucky.
In addition to his wife and parents, Kellie Lee is preceded in death by one son, Marvin "Little Sam" Miller, and one brother, Jerry Glenn Miller.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 pm Friday, August 25, 2017 from the Magoffin County Funeral Home Chapel with Tim Watkins and William Paul Perkins officiating. Burial will follow in the Risner Cemetery at Puncheon, Kentucky.
