Randal Joseph “Randy” Smith, 54, of Jefferson City passed away on Thursday, May 7, 2015 at Capital Region Medical Center.
He was born on December 1, 1960 the son of Harry and Nellie (Ball) Smith, both of whom preceded him in death.
He was a graduate of Kirchner State School, and worked at the Sheltered Workshop for over 33 years. Randy loved St. Louis Cardinal Baseball and St. Louis Rams Football. He collected comic books and DVD’s, and enjoyed fishing.
Randy is survived by: one brother, Melvin Smith and wife Pat of St. Louis; Glenda Jourdon of Jefferson City; and Eileen Corbett and husband Ron of Hedgesville, West Virginia; one nephew and three nieces; and lots of extended family and good friends.
Family will receive friends on Monday, May 11, 2015 from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Houser-Millard Funeral Chapel. Funeral Services will also be held on Monday, May 11, 2015 at 1:30 p.m. at Houser-Millard Funeral Chapel.
Interment will be in Verdot Cemetery in Bonnots Mill.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to Cole County Residential Services, 1908 Boggs Creek Road, Jefferson City, MO 65101.
