Leslie Dale Hoffman of KCK died may 8, 2015 at KU Med at the age of 84. "Hoffy" worked at Santa Fe Railroad for 43 years, was a Korean War vet, and a member of Masonic Lodge #3 for 50 years. Preceded in death by his father, Martin Hoffman of Emporia KS; his mother, Inez P. Hoffman of KC MO; and sisters Muriel and Joyce. He is survived by wife Laura Hoffman of KCK; sons Martin J. Hoffman of Seattle, Todd A. Hoffman of KCK; three grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Dale enjoyed woodworking, camping, fishing, his work with B.S.A. Troop 45, and his home life. "A Man of Few Words!" Visitation at Highland Park Funeral Home chapel Wednesday, May 13 from 10 AM to 12 PM, followed by graveside service.
