Kathleen "Kay" E. Osborne, 85 of Delta, died July 11, 2008, at Delta County Memorial Hospital.
She was born Oct. 28, 1922, in Waldron, Ark., to Elmer Hudson and Mettie Farnsworth Hudson. She spent her childhood in Idaho Springs and graduated from high school in 1941.
Aug. 15, 1941, she married Luther "Ozzie" Osborne in Idaho Springs. While living in Leadville, they owned and operated the Golden Burro Restaurant and Salida Inn.
Mrs. Osborne Lived in Lake Havesu, Ariz., for many years before moving to Delta in 1989. She was a member of Delta United Methodist Church, Columbine Senior Citizens Center and the Delta Chapter of P.E.O.
She was a loving wife and mother who enjoyed playing cards with her friends at the senior citizens center.
Survivors include son, Terry (Betty) Osborne of Delta; sister, Iva (Eugene) Nell Ganley of Mission Viejo, Calif.; grandchildren, Corey (Julie) of Colona, Greg and Kevin Osborne both of Delta and four nieces.
She was preceded in death by her husband of nearly 51 years, Ozzie Osborne; son, David Osborne and her parents, Elmer and Mettie Hudson.
No services will be held pursuant to her request.
