According to the Kentucky Marriages, 1785-1979 records a divorce, Margaret Hartley Franklin Wright, married a widower named James Boyd Brien Jr. or may just be James Brien Jr. I found a public family tree on-line that lists his middle name as Boyd but it never appears in any on-line records that I found. For some unknown reason when Margaret Hartley Franklin Wright remarried, she remarried under the name of Margaret Franklin or in reality Margaret Hartley Franklin. My best guess is that since her marriage to Jonathan Wright, according to this memorial, ended in a divorce she chose not to use the last name of Wright when she married James Boyd Brien Jr. or may just be James Brien Jr.
James Boyd Brien Jr. or may just be James Brien Jr. was last found in the 1870 census for Briensburg District 7, Marshall County, Kentucky. Since he died on May 07, 1875 and is buried in Benton, Marshall County, Kentucky, it is my opinion that James Boyd Brien Jr. or may just be James Brien Jr. died on May 07, 1875 in Marshall
