BERKELEY SPRINGS, W.Va. - Sarah Ellen Unger, 83, of Berkeley Springs, died Monday, Feb. 25, 2002, at Valley View Nursing Home.

Born June 20, 1918, in Morgan County, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late William L. and Lavina Tennessee Hobday Everett.

She attended public schools in Morgan County.

She had worked at Interwoven Hosiery Mill, Berkeley Springs; and was a homemaker.

She was a Protestant.

She is survived by three grandchildren, Danielle Bamber of Martinsburg, W.Va., Angela Vanorsdale of Little Orleans, Md., and Matthew Bishop of Hancock; and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two daughters, Carol Lee Unger and Rose Marie Bishop; a sister, Margaret Parlette; three brothers, Millard Everett, George Everett and Harry Everett; and a granddaughter.

Graveside services will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Greenway Cemetery, Berkeley Springs. The Rev. William C. Swope will officiate.

Arrangements are by Helsley-Johnson Funeral Home, Berkeley Springs.
