Matthew Charles Davidson was born on March 15, 1976 to Charles and Marcia Davidson. He was a promise from God. Matthew is preceded in death by his mother, Marcia Davidson, his grandparents, Raymond and Evelyn Davidson, and Emerald Davis aka Nannie and one nephew, Charles Allen Russell. He is survived by his wife, Tonya Davidson, and their two sons, Matthew Tyler Davidson and Colten Blake Davidson. He has two sisters, Leann Davidson Holley and her husband Bobby Holley, and April Davidson Russell and her husband Tommy Russell. Nephews are Brandon Davidson and his wife Stacey Davidson, William Wilson, Tommy Donovan Russell, and Lincoln Davidson. His nieces are Savannah Russell and Qwin Chambers. Mother in law, Freda Myers and sisters in laws, Dana and Andrea Myers.
Matthew was a giving person. His laugh would make you giggle. He could make the hardest hearted person laugh. He cared about others and wanted to help them in any way that he could.
He loved his family.
He had many friends. Some he even considered to be family.
Matthew worked with the ACTZ ministry from Pathway of Life Church. One time he felt that God was telling him to give a homeless man his shoes. Matthew went home barefoot that night because he gave that man his shoes and socks. He did not boast about it. He knew to obey the voice of the Lord.
