Mr. Prejean was a native and resident of Carencro for most of his life. He enjoyed to hunt and fish, especially turtle, and to take care of his lawn and garden.
Survivors include his wife of over 43 years, Linda Guidry of Arnaudville; two daughters, Chere P. Lantier and her husband, Jason, and Mandrell P. Latiolais and her husband, Coby, all of Arnaudville; and four grandchildren, Jaylon Lantier, Bryson Lantier, Mason Latiolais, and Mali Latiolais.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Polite Prejean and the former Evelyn Vincent; three brothers, Paul Prejean, Ernest Prejean, and Bill Prejean; and three sisters, Alice Prejean, Anna Mae P. Alleman, and Viola Prejean.
A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Tuesday and will continue from 8:00 a.m. until service time on Wednesday.
