Larry Ray Burnett

Larry Ray Burnett, Coupland, Texas, died at home on May 6, 2015, he was born in Massachusetts on January 25, 1957.

Larry grew up in Coupland, and attended Taylor High School where he was an annual class favorite, lettered in football and baseball. His senior year he was elected Mr. Taylor High School by his peers. After graduating in May 1975, he left for Prudhoe Bay to work on the Alaska Pipeline. Upon his return from Alaska he attended Texas A&M. Deciding to forgo college, he returned to Alaska as a pipeline welder and rodeo cowboy. Larry was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt, fish, scuba dive and snow ski.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Theda Beth and George Laffone Burnett.

Survivors include his brother and sister-in-law, James Leonard Burnett and Nina; and his nephews, Tyler and Cooper Burnett; and many friends whom he considered family.
