GORDO | Patricia Ann Stokes, age 73, of Gordo, died May 7, 2015, at Princeton Baptist Medical Center. Services will be 2 p.m. Monday, May 11, 2015, at Skelton Funeral Home with Rev. Rodney Hedrick officiating. Burial will follow in Hannah United Methodist Church Cemetery with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis Stokes, and her parents.
Survivors include her daughters, Robin Anderson, Scarlett Perron (Bill), and Renee Thomas (Bruce); son, Jeff Burroughs; ten grandchildren, Laci Crimm, Brittany Perron, William Perron, Markita Thomas, Gerould Thomas, Logan Tatum, Kayla Sanders, Josh Hickman, Coty Brinyark, and Casey Brinyark; and three great-grandchildren, Matthew Hickman, Zyiah Abrams, and Serenity Jenkins.
Mrs. Stokes was born January 5, 1942, in Pickens County, Ala., to the late Johnny Crimm and Mary Plowman Crimm. She was a member of New Life Worship Center, a retired employee of Debra Knit Manufacturing, and a lifelong resident of Pickens County.
Honorary pallbearers are Dr. Reynolds and staff, Dr. Anderson and staff, nurses and staff of DCH Regional Medical Center, Amedisys Home Health, Susan Clements, and Patricia's church family at New Life Worship Center.
