CORTLAND - Lolarene P. Bacorn, 78, of Cortland, went to be with her Lord on Thursday, May 7, 2015, at St. Joseph Warren Hospital.
She was born Dec. 16, 1936, in Bablin, W.Va., the daughter of the late Orville and Ethel Cooper Kincaid.
Lolarene and William were united into marriage on Feb. 5, 1956, and just celebrated their 59th wedding anniversary.
She was a member of Warren Baptist Temple, where she was a Sunday school teacher for 30 years and also had perfect attendance for 35 years.
Lolarene enjoyed sewing, quilting, working on puzzles and reading the newspaper.
She is survived by her husband, William A. Bacorn of Cortland; her children, Randy Bacorn of Champion, Anita (Larry) Cameron of Epsyville, Pa., Beverly (Randy) Lytle of Mecca, Rebecca (Tim) Kuhn of Champion and Ronald (Anne) Bacorn of Champion; 15 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; a brother, Darrell (Sharon) Kincaid of Jane Lew, W.Va.; and sisters, Marlene (John) Bennett of McWhorter, W.Va., and Clara (Rodney) Shaw of Jane Lew, W.Va.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Theresa Jane Bacorn; four sisters; and one brother.
Services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Warren Baptist Temple, where Pastor Jim Dittmar will officiate. The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Carl W. Hall Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service at the church.
Interment will be in Champion Township Cemetery.
