Mrs. Jeanette Sealy “Jeanie” Hull Horn was born June 9, 1943 in Henderson, Texas. She was one of four children born to the marriage of Henry Edwin and Mary Juanita Knight Hull. Jeanie graduated from Carthage High School in 1962 and attended Panola College. She met and later married George Henton Horn on May 13, 1965 and together they celebrated 36 years until he preceded her in death on January 10, 2002. Mrs. Horn worked throughout her life for SWEPCO, Baptist Hospital, Texas Bank in Tatum and First State Bank in Carthage. Jeanie was a volunteer for HeartsWay Hospice, was a member of the Service League of Carthage and was a member of Southside Baptist Church. She is also preceded in death by her parents, sister, Nancy Seegers; brother, Henry Edwin Hull, Jr. and nephew, Jason Brent Hudson.
Mrs. Horn is survived by her daughter, Renee Boyd and husband James of Beckville; sister, Dian Hudson and husband John of Beckville; sister-in-law, Lisa Hull of Chalk Hill; grandchildren, Brendan Alan Boyd, Mya Juanita Boyd, Lilly Renee Boyd; special friend, Cherie Gibert of Carthage; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
