Sharon T. Sharpe, 62, died Tuesday, Oct. 28 at St. Tammany Parish Hospital. She was a resident of Bogalusa and a member of Lee’s Creek Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Dewitt Sharpe of Bogalusa; a son, Scott Dewitt (Krista) Sharpe of Bogalusa; two daughters, Sharee (James) Gibson of Roanoke, Va. and Sharon (Chris) Sumrall of Bogalusa; her mother, Mary B. Pounds of Bogalusa; a brother, Billy Wayne (Beth) Pounds of Bogalusa; a sister, Shirley (Lamar) Keaton of Bogalusa; a brother-in-law, Kelly (Sissy) Sharpe of Bogalusa; seven grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Pounds.
A memorial service will be held at Lee’s Creek Baptist Church on Thursday from 10 a.m. until time for the funeral service at 3 p.m. Rev. Joshua Smith will be in charge of services.
Brown-McGehee is handling arrangements.
