Like a shooting star, Leah was a rare, beautiful, brilliant, extraordinary, daughter; sister; auntie; friend; and companion that gave instant joy the very second you were in her presence. She’s a once in a lifetime person and left an indelible and overwhelming legacy with everyone she met. This extraordinary young lady was not only full of life; her unrivaled accolades include, being featured in a Warren Miller Ski movie, tap danced, played piano, achieved a purple belt in tai-kwan-do, graduated with academic honors from Grandview High School in Aurora, CO and continued her education at McDaniel College and Catholic University. Leah was an active member in her church and the blind community. She worked for the Maryland State Library for the Blind and traveled the world. She will always be remembered as a kind and pure-hearted soul. SHINE ON LEAH! We love you.
