OBITUARY from Huntingdon Daily News April 8, 1962 page 2 - Carl Fees - Carl Fees, 67, of 614 White Street, Lilly, died Thursday, April 4, 1963 in Cresson. Born January 26, 1901 in Lilly, he was a son of Andrew and Sarah (Long) Fees. He was united in marriage and his wife Pearl M. Fees, survives. Also surviving are a son, Melvin Fees, with the U. S. Navy; three sisters, Mrs. Thomas Nagle, Greenbelt, Md.; Mrs. Pearl Davis, Huntingdon and Mrs. Steve Miller, Grantsville, Md. He was a retired foreman at Cresson State School and Hospital. The deceased had served as a member, and county delegate of the Lilly Fire Company, and was a former borough council main and water commissioner. At the time of his death he was employed as supervisor of the Lilly Water Company. Interment was made in St. Brigid’s Cemetery.
