Retired U.S. Air Force Master Sgt. Peter Antosh, age 83, of Valparaiso, Fla., died Sunday, Aug. 23, 1998, in a local nursing facility.

He was born in Morrisadale, Pa., and was a member of Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church in Niceville, Fla.; Knights of Columbus, past Grand Knight; past president of OARC for Okaloosa County, Fla. He was a veteran with decorations for Vietnam, the Airman's Medal and Bronze Star, Korea and World War II, serving for over 28 years in the U.S. Air Force.

Survivors include his wife, Stella Antosh of Valparaiso; son and daughter-in-law, Pete A. and Cindy Antosh of Gulf Shores, Ala.; daughter, Agness Antosh of Valparaiso; sisters, Irene Snodgrass and Dorothy Antosh, both of Cleveland; and two grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at McLaughlin Twin Cities Funeral Home from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, with a rosary being said at 7 p.m.

A funeral Mass service will be conducted at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 26, with Father Daniel J. Butler officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Cemetery, with full military honors.
