Edward Arnold Cardwell, 52, of Opelika, died Tuesday, May 5, 2015. Funeral services will be Saturday, May 9, 2015, at Williams Chapel United Methodist Church at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. David Waldrop and Robert Spratlin officiating. Burial will follow in Little Texas Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, May 8, 2015, from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Corbitt’s Funeral Home in Tuskegee. Mr. Cardwell is survived by his daughters Brittney and Brie Anna Cardwell; his brothers Jim (Tammy) Cardwell, Ronnie Cardwell, and Michael (Amy) Cardwell; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Lonnie Franklin and Essie Mae Cardwell. Mr. Cardwell was a great, devoted father and brother.
