ERIC BURDON OLIVER Eric Oliver, 86 years old, passed away Tuesday, February 22, 2005, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Liverpool, England on July 11, 1918, he immigrated to Camden, New Jersey with his family in March of 1926. Eric enlisted in the Air Force, spent time in Texas before going to Okinawa with the 559th B29 Group. He was employed by RCA for 34 years in New Jersey and Florida and also by Northern Telecom for nine years in Florida and North Carolina. He was a member of the Maple Shade-Moorestown Lodge No. 281 F.&A.M., Past Commander, American Legion Post 11, Atco, N.J. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Eleanor Oliver; daughters, Carole Mills (Emery) and Cheryl DeMarois (David); grandchildren, Deanna Bache (James), Stephen Mills (Katerina), Kimberly DeMarois, Karen DeMarois; great-grandson, Ryder MiIIs; his brother, Lewis Oliver; and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be€held on Saturday, March 12, 2005 at 3 PM at Palms West Presbyterian Church, 13689 Okeechobee Road, Loxahatchee, FL 33470.
