She was born on August 27, 1936 in Cedar City, Utah, the daughter of Cecil Wayne and Nina Corry Palmer.
She married Larry H. Sheffield on November 22, 1955, in Elko, Nevada. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He preceded her in death on May 18, 2004.
She was a member of the Snow Creek Ward. She was a faithful daughter to our Heavenly Father serving in both the Ward and Stake Relief Society Presidency. She was also the Visiting Teacher Supervisor for her ward.
We will miss her loving ways. She loved to go on “Adventures”, which included going on long drives, vacations, and traveling the world.
She looked forward to Sunday dinner and a movie night, (which sometimes she slept through), and visits with family and friends who would stop by her home.
She was fiercely independent, except for her dog, which she took everywhere, and her Camry which only had one speed, as fast as it could go.
She is survived by her daughter, Terri Lin Hurst (Mark), Pleasant View; her son, Scott (Shirley) Sheffield, Kathy Sheffield (daughter-in-law), both of Layton; eleven grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by parents, husband, brother and oldest son.
Interment, Kaysville City Cemetery.
