Nello Dunlap a 1957 graduate of Nitro High School passed away Wednesday, May 6, 2015 after surgery complications. He was preceded in death by his parents Kay and Verna Dunlap,
Nello is survived by his wife of 55 years Ginger Dunlap, Son & daughter in law, Mark and Kim Dunlap, Daughter & son in law, Cheryl and L.D. Foster; Grandchildren, Josh Dunlap, Cody Dunlap, Ty Foster and Chantil Foster; Brothers, Frank (wife Ann) Dunlap & Keith (wife Judy) Dunlap and several nieces and nephews.
Nello worked in sales for many years before starting his family business, Dunlap Guns in Hurricane. He enjoyed many things including woodworking, which was a longtime hobby and he made many heirloom treasures for family and friends, Antique cars, fishing and golfing were a few other hobbies he enjoyed. With his wife Ginger, They rode across 48 states and Canada on their Honda Goldwing Trike.
His love and responsibility to his family was impeccable. He proudly supported and guided his children and grandchildren from education to achieving and pursuing their goals, hobbies and careers. He enjoyed the small things in life like going out to eat and spending time with his grandkids. The last few years Nello and Ginger enjoyed retirement spending several months a year in Sun City, AZ He will be honored through our lives and greatly missed in our hearts.
Funeral services are pending for 1:00 Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at Allen Funeral Home and burial will follow in Valley View Memorial Park. Visitation is pending for Tuesday, May 12, 2015 from 6 til 8 at the Funeral Home.
