LEWISTON - Rosario J. Dennis, 84, a residend of Russell Park Manor, died Friday, June 9, at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center. He was born in Lewiston on Oct. 2, 1921, the son of Alfred and Eva (Desjardins) Dennis. He attended local schools and later went on to serve his country in the U.S. Army during World War II.
He worked for many years as an oil truck driver and later worked in various local shoe shops. He was a member of St. Patrick's Church, the former American Legion Post No. 22, and the Elks Lodge in Lewiston.
He is survived by his wife Mary (Talarico) Dennis of Lewiston, whom he married in 1965; his stepson Bruce Angelides, and his wife Nancy, of Lewiston; two brothers, Maurice of South Paris, and Norman of Lewiston; and his sister, Pauline Therrien of Lewiston.
He was predeceased by his first wife, Dorothy (Sands) Dennis in 1961; three sisters, Loretta, Jeannine, and Annette; and two brothers, Ludger and Henry
