Eugene W. Ripley, 98, of Beloit, WI, died May 6, 2015 in his home. He was born February 10, 1917 in Missouri, the son of Eugene and Bernice (Higgins) Ripley. Eugene married Francine M. LaGrange on September 15, 1939 in Davenport, IA. She predeceased him in 2013. Eugene was formerly employed by Fairbanks Morse and retired in 1989 from Summit Machine in Beloit, WI. He was a very family orientated man who built two of his own homes, and would always go out of his way for his family. Eugene played in a band for awhile and he enjoyed playing the bass guitar, guitar and piano. He was predeceased by his parents, one brother and three sisters. Daley Murphy Wisch Funeral Home.
