Warren Devere Cooper, 37, of 102 Allison Ave., salesman for the Holsum Bakery Co., Springfield, died at his home Thursday night. He was seriously ill since June.
Born in Springfield, Jan. 12, 1913, he had passe the greater part of his life in Xenia. He was the son of Allen and Airie Ford Cooper.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Ethel Turner Cooper, whom he married Oct. 25, 1935; a son, Teddy Devere; his mother, Mrs. Airie Cooper, Xenia; seven brothers, James P., Rochester, N.Y. Ford and Wendell, Dayton; Robert F., of El Cajon, Calif.; Francis A. of West Virginia and Deane B., who is in the army and stationed in Japan, and two sisters, Mrs. Dorothy Shinkle and Mrs. Gladys Randall, Xenia. And infant daughter, Linda Lavone, preceded him in death.
Services will be held at the Neeld Funeral Home Monday at 3 p.m. In charge of Rev. Bruce Brooks, Jamestown. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery. Friends may call at the Cooper home Saturday or Sunday from 3 to 5 or 7 to 9 p.m.
