Mrs. Josephine Stehling nee Zuercher of Fredericksburg passed away on Sunday July 15th in the Knopp Nursing and Rehab Center at the age of 102 years.

Josephine is survived by seven children and spouses: Anne and Albert Detjen of Austin
Neal and Peggy Stehling of Memphis, TN
Alex and Sharon Jung of Fredericksburg
Pat and Carolyn Jung of Doss
Carol and Jim Scheele of New Braunfels
Jerry and Mary Stehling of Houston
Kathleen and Peter Magargee of Houston
72 grandchildren
Daughter-in-law: Jeanette, Mrs. Alvin James Stehling of Fredericksburg

The body will lie in state in the Chapel of the Schaetter Funeral Home until 9:45 a.m. on Wednesday July 18th with a Mass of Resurrection at 10:00 a.m. in St. Mary’s Catholic Church with Msgr. Enda McKenna officiating.

Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery.

Rosary services will be held on Tuesday July 17th at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Schaetter Funeral Home with Deacon Pat Klein officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the St. Mary’s School Endowment Fund, American Cancer Society, or to the charity of one’s choice.

Visitation for Josephine Stehling will be held on Tuesday July 17th from 5 to 8:00 p.m. in the Schaetter Funeral Home.
