Laura Lee Craig, age 65, of Canyon Creek died Saturday, June 10, 2006, at her residence. She had been diagnosed with lung cancer four months prior. Laura was born in Missoula Aug. 15, 1940, to Lester and Gladys Jackson Stinger. She attended schools in Seeley Lake and married Lloyd T. Craig in Superior on Nov. 9, 1958. They came to Helena in 1968 and later lived in Townsend and White Sulphur Springs, before returning to Helena in 1990.

Laura is survived by her husband, Lloyd, a sister Georgine Judge and a niece, Dawn Friaras, both of Great Falls.

Cremation has taken place and a memorial mass will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, June 21, 2006, at Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church. Interment will take place at a later date at the Montana State Veterans Cemetery. Retz Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
