Mrs. Bonnie E. Gibson, 78,
died in Henry County Memorial
Hospital in New Castle, Ind ,
Sunday morning, April 20, 1975,
following a one week illness.
Her husband, James Edgar Gibson,
died in August of 1966.
She had resided in Lynn until
September 1974.
Survivors are 3 daughters,
Mrs. Bob (Molene) Wiggens,
Mrs. Johnny (Louise) Guffey,
and Mrs. Harlan (Donreta)
Hoover, all three of New Castle,
four sons, Esco and Robert
Gibson, both of New Castle,
Woodrow, Albany, Ky., and
Lloyd Gibson, Lynn, four brothers;
Sterile Bertram, Lynn,
Willie Bertram, Winchester,
Roscoe and Otto Bertram, Modoc,
27 grandchildren and 14
great-grandchildren.
Mrs Gibson was born May 9,
1896 in Pickett County, Tennessee,
the daughter of Frank and
Loretta Candice Bertram. Most
of her life she had resided in
Albany, Ky., moving to Winchester
and Linn areas in 1958.
She and her husband were
married March 1, 1915. She had
belonged to the Pentecostal
Church.
Services were held Wednesday,
April 30, at 10:30 am in a
funeral home in New Castle.
Rev Welby Brown officiated.
Burial was in the South Mound
Cemetery in New Castle.
Mrs Gibson was the grand-
mother of Mrs Frankie Gregory
of Colonial Estates, here in
Monticello.
