BOWMAN, CATHERINE V. (BROWN) 84, of Parker St., West Warwick, passed away at R I Hospital, after a brief illness. She was the wife of John W. Bowman Jr. They have been married for 61 years. A lifelong resident of West Warwick, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Mary (Correira) Brown.
Catherine had been employed at Bradford Soap and several other Mills in the Pawtuxet Valley before retiring.
She was the mother of Cathy, John, Mary and Lisa. Catherine was the grandmother of Patrick, Jimmy, Colleen, Emily, Brittany and Brandon; great-grandmother of four. She was the sister of the late Mary Chambers, Raymond, John, Joseph Brown and James Brum.
“Cathy was a very kind and giving person and she will be missed by many”.
Visiting hours are Thursday morning from 10:00 am to 11:30 am with a Service at 11:30 am in the IANNOTTI Funeral Home, 415 Washington St., (Rte.117) Coventry. Interment in the R I Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter.
