Marjorie Ellen Cook Griffin, 91, of Pine Bluff, passed away April 26, 2015, at Trinity Village Medical Center.

Born November 1, 1923, in Fornfelt, Missouri (now Scott City, Missouri).

She was the Daughter of the late Charley Monroe and Lillie Pearl Adams Cook.

She Received her Education in Fornfelt, Graduating from Fornfelt High School in 1942.

In 1950, she Married William Matthew “Bill” Griffin, in Paragould, Arkansas.
They Shared Fifty Six Years of Life, Love and Memories, until his Death in 2006.

Mrs. Griffin worked as a Teller at Citizens Bank in Jonesboro; and a Clerk in the Credit Department of Montgomery Ward for several Years.

Most of her Life was spent as a Homemaker and as a Volunteer.

She was an Active Member of First Baptist Church in Pine Bluff.

She was a Member of the Simmons Bank Classic Club and the Pine Bluff National Bank Crown Club.

Mrs. Griffin was Past President of the Council of Garden Clubs; and a Member of the Lavender Garden Club.

She was also a Member of the Wives of Locomotive Engineers Auxiliary, the Salvation Army Ladies Auxiliary and a Past Member of Beta Sigma Fi Sorority in Jonesboro.

She was preceded in Death by her Parents; her Husband and an Infant Brother, Herman Harry Cook.

Mrs. Griffin has No Immediate Survivors.

She leaves Church Family and Friends she made over the years to Cherish Her Memory .

Burial will be Private in Scott City, Missouri.
