Dolores E. Weber (nee Wickman), age 87 of Hartford was taken home by the Angels surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at the Grafton Aurora Medical Center.
She was born on January 17, 1928 in Hartford, Wisconsin to August and Nora (nee Burg) Wickman. She was united in marriage to Reuben Weber on October 18, 1947 at Holy Angels Church in West Bend and together they resided on and operated the family farm. Dolores was a member of St. Kilian Catholic Church. She worked for the Broan-NuTone Company in Hartford for 25 years. She enjoyed attending her grandchildren’s sporting events and gardening. She will be remembered fondly for her wonderful pies, baking, and love of flowers.
Dolores is survived by her loving children, Colleen (Arnie) Fehring of Hartford, Pauline (special friend, Ron Brendemuehl) Chapman of Bear Creek, Sharon (Scott) Paternoster of Hartford, Jim Weber of Hartford; 13 cherished grandchildren, Christine (Paul) Shelsta, Andy Fehring, Pam (Tony) Geracie, Matt (Jess), Mike (Amber), Steve, Kenny (Josephine) Rettler, Randy Paternoster and Josh (special friend, Ali) Paternoster; Luke (Ashley), Grant (Daysha), Brook (special friend, Quintin), and Cole Weber; 12 cherished great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, James Gagan; and her special family friend, Connie Holz of Hustisford. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other treasured relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 57 years, Reuben Weber; her parents, August and Nora Wickman; her parents-in-law, John and Anna Weber; siblings, Phyllis Gagan, Norbert (Rose) Wickman; and siblings-in-law, Arnold Weber, Lucille (Lawrence) Sauer, and Marie (Raymond) Breuer.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Kilian Catholic Church (264 State St. Hartford, WI 53027) with Fr. David LaPlante officiating. Family will greet relatives and friends on Tuesday from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the church.
Interment in St. Kilian Cemetery, Hartford.
